3 Ideas that changed my outlook on the outdoors and life.
I am not a sage by any measure, but along the trail of this adventure called life, I have managed to pick up a few tips that have helped me navigate the good, bad, and semingly mundane phases, and I wanted to share a few with you:
The most curious wins
The most potent solution to dissatisfaction, complacency, and mediocracy is curiosity. Every adventure begins with curiosity – I wonder what it would be like to through hike the AT, to Bike the GAP, to scale Kilimanjaro, to start a new business. That is the spark – lean into it, explore it. The journey is the adventure
Help other people, really!
You can have everything you want in life, if you help other people get what they want – Zig Ziglar.
Alot of people want peace, happiness, purpose, and a lot of this can be accessed in the outdoors with a little bit of quiet and nature. Help someone get outdoors, but above all, just help someone.
Gratitude – the secret sauce:
It is easy to get trapped in the everyday living and miss all the amazement that comes with being alive in this day and time. i have learnt that all through my jouney of life: growing up in Nigeria, going to boarding school at the age of 9, moving to the United States at 19, living in the city and country and starting a life in the mountains, there is too much to be thankful for. “Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more” Zig Ziglar
Keep your Wheelz Up!
And remember, perfect love casts out fear.
