Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul alike.

3 Spots to visit in Fall
Dans Rock: The highest point in the county, and one of the highest points in the state, it offers some amazing views of the fall colors and rolling hills. A great spot to visit ant sunrise and/or sunset.
Dans rock is very easy to get to by car and is a pleasant drive when you go through Westernport and the Savage River area. See more

Big Savage Tunnel Overlook: One of the most scenic spots on the GAP trail, you can catch a view of the Narrows and Lovers Leap. From this beautiful spot right outside the big savage tunnel, you can also see one of the largest continuous rock faces on the east coast, awesome for rock climbing.
The best part, you can enjoy a 25 mile downhill ride back to Cumberland.

Banners Overlook-Green Ridge State Forest:This is another spectacular view from Town Hill Mountain looking east towards the Potomac River and West Virginia. The Great Eastern Trail, a north-south route that runs 1,600 miles from New York to Alabama, through the Appalachian Mountains, makes its way through Maryland as it passes this overlook. Green Ridge Overlooks

And remember, You Rock!
The month of September was a great month for giving back. We partnered with the Cumberland Union Rescue, who raised over $25,000 in the Hike for the Homeless.

Our Chief Adventure Officer also completed the 75 miles to nowhere to raise money for the local hospital.

You too can make a difference.
