Shuttle Driver (Seasonal, On-Call)

Season: April – Early November
Schedule: On-call / Based on reservation demand

Wheelzup Adventures is seeking reliable, flexible seasonal shuttle drivers to transport cyclists and guests along the GAP & C&O Canal Towpath. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, meeting interesting people, and being part of the outdoor community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport guests and bikes to and from trail access points
  • Provide a friendly, welcoming experience for riders starting their adventure
  • Assist with bike loading and unloading
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding pickup times and locations

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability (work is scheduled based on reservations)
  • Strong people skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the GAP & C&O trail system
  • Experience driving vans or passenger vehicles
  • Knowledge of the local area and trail towns
