Yay to New Beginnings!

Its a month of new beginnings for us around here.
There is new construction on the downtown mall, we are opening a new location, starting some new partnerships and bringing some new people on the team.
I’m sure there are some new things going on in your lives – spring flowers popping, new babies, grand babies, back to mowing the lawn and others…
Together, lets welcome this season of newness and how about starting with some new beginnings for your old socks…

Minority Business Certification
We are proud to announce that we have finally received our minority business certification. Wheelzup is owned by both a black man and a woman, both of which are considered minorities in the business population. It’sa lot of work to get this certification and we are glad we could. Now we could hopefully help open the doors for other minorities to create and build businesses and wealth.

Hiking with Alpacas
The Wheelzup crew put together an awesome event where we got to hike with Alpacas this week. We had over 120 people show up!
We have many more events coming up, check out our events and clinics page and start signing up!

Mandela’s Muses

The anchor – It is important we all have one. I had a recent conversation with a friend who was trying to make a big decision and my advise was for him to spend a little time defining what happiness really was for him. Not what society, or family or media tells you, but what really it is for YOU!
I would say 90% of people can not clearly articulate what success is for them. Really, take a minute, and answer the question – Are you successful, are you happy, what would success of happiness look like?

As we continue to build the Wheelzup movement, there are many days when we are discouraged, disappointed, lonely, and tired, but we go back to our anchor, the thing that grounds us – We are about Access, Knowledge, and Community, and in these areas, we believe we are making a difference.
The best thing you could do for yourself is find tour anchor, because like Alice in Wonderland, you cant find the way to get there, if you don’t know where there is…

Clarity, Spring, and the First Ride of the Season

Clarity, Spring, and the First Ride of the Season

Suffering sharpens us — but navigating it is exhausting. As spring approaches, a single quote by James Clear cut through the noise: “When you need clarity, subtract.” This season, I’m leaning into that idea. Spring cleaning isn’t just for closets. Sometimes the best move is simply making room for what matters.
